WHAT UP!!!!!

Hey everyone!! Hope your Christmas was full of CHEER!!!! I had a truely relaxing day with my parents. They totally spoiled me! I got a remote car starter (totally necessary in this arctic type climate I live in, of course those of you in warm weather states wouldn't understand!!!! lol) and a small plasma TV for my room. That picture is soooo clear!! WOW - it's awesome!

I spent a little time with my girl Nicki and her family on Christmas Eve and spoke with my family in NH on the phone. but most of the time I was just relaxing with my parents. It was nice that the stores, gym, etc...weren't open. It was a good excuse not to be able to do anything!! Last night I spent the evening with my friend Sue and her kids (they are like my nephews) opening gifts and having dinner. I don't know why I should be so exahusted for not doing anything!!!!

I was in the gym yesterday helping a friend, Christina, learning some new exercises. She was one of my first successs tories, losing a lot of weight by diet and exercise. I figured it would be good to give her a little "tune up". As far as my workout...? well it happened but it was wimpy!?

My cousin, Anya, got rushed to the "NICU" at Dartmouth-Hitchcock for complications with her pregnancy!! Prayers to her and her little one!!!!

Back at work today (yuk!). It's been fun to see who has signed up for my newsletter though! My webmaster is expanding the search sites I will be able to be found on so that means more exposure!! He is also giving the newsletter a new format!! I am excited about that.

Have gotten an invite to go to NH and party with the New England district chairman and his girl for New Years! That may be fun?? We'll see. My mom isn't feeling well (hope it doesn't turn to penumonia again!) and my dad's birthday is New Years Eve!? So...??? Maybe I will jsut stay home! Not very glamorous but...probably the right thing!

OK y'all - talk to ya soon!

Godd day all!

It is below zero up here in the northeast but at leat the sun is shining. Tomorrow we are supposed to get freezing rain (great for driving), so I guess I have to enjoy the sun today!!!

I trained with figure athlete, Amanda Geneao www.sweetcapri.com)on Tuesday night. Amanda won the overall figure at 2005 New Englands. She has a smokin body and spunky personality. I wasn't feeling motivated to train but once we got going she fueled me to a good workout. She hung tough and trained hard. It definately was a fun evening. I look forward to getting together again! Thanks gurl!!

Today something nice happened to me! I called Parillo Performance to order some protien pancakes (they are the best)and I was fortunate enough to gt Dominique on the phone. She is the beautiful lady behind the fry pans at the Parillo booth at the shows! Anyway she took my order and then she and Bob (Parillo) told me that to congratulate me on my win at Nationals they were sending myorder free of charge. i was overwhlemed. I figured they would just not charge me for the shipping!! These are the type of things that are happening that make me realize how blessed I have been and AM!!! Thanks so much to Parillo Paerformance! You guys are the best and your pancakes ROCK!!!!

My computer may be able to be fixed (rats)I got the good word today. Andrew (computer wiz guy) is working onit and feels he can get it to be faster than it has been without much effort although he did say it was a hot mess!!! Thanks Andrew (and Damaris for finding Andrew)!

OK, so at my day job we went Xmas shopping for the unfortunate kids we come in contact with. We got great stuff for bargain prices. It is a fun diversion from the regular work day and helps with that Christmas spirit thing too!!!
hope you all are MERRY!!
PEACE

It's been a week since I last wrote!
I was pretty busy last week keeping up with dieting adn double cardios for my shoot this past weekend with Barry Brooks! I am glad I did because the pics came out great!! Barry was an awesome host and we had a great time. I met his very sweet fiance, Mary, and got to get an appreciation for all Barry's knowledge with womens' bodybuilding. He has been shooting female bodybuilders since the '80's and has filmed anyone that is anyone. He has a fabulous pic of Juliette Bergman on his desk..."the mistress of symmetry" for sure!!! Maybe someday I can look like her!!
Anyhow, my flights were easy and relaxing and totally on time. We did work pretty straight on Saturday and I felt pretty tired yesterday. Now, I just have to get my galleries and membership section going right. I have a lot of material to post!!!
My computer went out to the shop today. I guess we will see if it is worth sving ro time for a new one. I have already been looking at lap tops!!!! I kind hope I need a new one!!!!
It is nowy and cold here - definately Christmas like. I guess that is all OK until christmas and then....it can all melt and be sunny as far as I am concerned!!
There are so many thing I have to get done; new business cards, updates on computer, 8 x 10's made up, pictures for Christmas gifts, Christmas shopping and planning.....plus I am ready to relax with friends, eat and hang out and enjoy not really being on a schedule!!!!! I am really looking forward to the holiday season this year and have enjoyed the decorating and shopping so far. Sometimes the holidays are just a PIA!!! Not this year...guess that is a good sign?
My newsletter needs subscribers so please feel free to sign-up - I will be working on a format for this over the holidays and hopefully it will be a monthly thing; NPC/IFBB news, tips, schedules and appearances...all free.
My members section with have galleries but also servcies; basic diet plans, possibly training tips, suggested food lists. this should appeal to everyone and not just people looking for pictures!
I really am looking forward to 2006!!!!
Have a great week, guys, keep in touch and talk soon!
Peace,
C

Good Morning and Happy Monday (yuk)!

My body is trying to go in hibernation mode as it has been snowy, grey andcold all weekend! I could just sleep until spring!!! I think I must have been a bear in a past life!!!! (Maybe that's where I get my grizzly attitude at times!)

I have had computer problems all weekend and fear that it may have crashed!! Will have to deal with that at some point. I am a bit technologically challenged and so this could be an obstacle for sure!!! Wished I had an IT specialist in da house!!!!

I had a very domestic weekend (since I didn't really want to leave in the snow, hate driving in it even with 4-wheel drive). I did a lot of chores and spent yesterday decorating for Christmas. I put on the Christmas tunes, simmered the holiday potpourri and filled the house with all things Chrsitmas! The only thing missing were home baked cookies but that will have to wait until after my shoot wiht Barry Brooks this weekend! I am pretty much on target for that for now. Plugging away at my double cardios but definately ready for a break (singles will do just fine!).

I had the opportunity to go out to Boston area and see an Ultimate Fighting Championship. It was kick ass (literally). It was held at a club and it was packed. There were title fights and also a womans' match. These chicks battled. What warriors these athletes are! They combine kick boxing, martial arts and wrestling. Some do a lot of ground work (Gracie style) but all have a ton of heart! The size of the muscle had nothing to do with the fire in their hearts!! I was pumped. My sensi, Red Dragon, may be fighting in this organization this upcoming year. I think she will rock! We did support a guy form Silver Dragon's school. these people are just no joke! All my respect to them for their heart and tenacity!

Another thing I did this weekend was to go back to my old High School in agawam and speak to the wrestling team about nutrition. The head coach, Gary Geiger (high school boyfriend of mine) had asked me to come talk to the team. It was totally my pleasure1 i love wrestling and was really into it in high school and after. I hope to catch some meets this year and if they need me to return to help in any way I will be honored. Go Brownies!!!

OK - I guess that is it for now!
Stay warm!!

I am so excited...I got the best news yesterday...I have been offered a contract from the Road to the Pros/Hard Bodies Entertainment. It will be for one year but I feel so honored to be a FBB with a contract! I am hoping this will open doors for me for future work! i will be seen around the IFBB/NPC more than ever now!!! "Big Poppa", Jay, is so good to me!!! He has all the faith in the world in me and sees things for me that I don't even see for myself. I am so grateful for his advocacy!!!! I plan on taking advantage of this blessing and work real heard this year to optimize on any opportunities that may come my way. I have to say a huge THANK YOU to Jay and Fred for believinging me!!! ...and for believing in Womens' Bodybuilding! Jay really has a vision and a plan to help keep the sport alive!!! I am with him all the way!

I think the "water" is leaving my body!! thanks God! It should with double cardios and hardly any carbs right? anywa - I should be all set for the shoot next weekend!

I just have to take this time to again, thank everyone who has been offereing their support in the form of e-mails, calls, etc..! There have been pople from all over the country and abroad offereing their congrats to me! How crazy is that? It touches my heart. Now I truely understand what my friends who have turned pro are talking about. Thank you so much everyone and please feelf ree to come up to me and introduce yourself if you see me around!!!!
